The staff were outstanding and amazing. The rooms were cosy and the location was super on the outskirts of the town anyway. Moreover, it's near to the seaside of Bali, and the restaurant of the resort.

The room was exquisite and offered a dryer, terry bath robes and shower caps, so that guests had essentials. The breakfast had lots of options: breads and pastries. We enjoyed sleeping 5 nights in this hotel.

The bread and pastries offered for breakfast were a great addition. The resort is conveniently located near a jungle on the outskirts of town as well as near the center of Ubud.

I enjoyed the privacy of the villa's and the ease at which the staff helped me to life that privacy. I also enjoyed the serenity of the surroundings and the astonishing view.
It is a pity that the transportation organised and available from the hotel is rather expensive. The transporters from Ubud and from friends of hotel staff are offering prices at 25% - 50% less.

Probably the nicest hotel that we have stayed in. The accommodation was great value for money. The hotel staff were simply amazing and made our stay a wonderful experience. Close to elephant park and white water rafting.
The cost of food and wine at the hotel were high. Better value in Ubud.

This is the most exquisite resort I have ever stayed at. Everything was simply perfect! The grounds are beautiful and peaceful and meticulously well kept. We stayed in a one-bedroom private pool villa which was just wonderful. The view looking out on to the rainforest was breathtaking to wake up to every morning. The staff were outstanding, so friendly and attentive. We'd always have complimentary fruit when we came back to our rooms, and sometimes even delicious little cakes! We had a 3 hour spa treatment which was heavenly, and the dinner at the restaurant was delicious. Regular shuttles to and from Ubud were easy to use. I was so sad to leave, I actually got a little teary eyed and had to be dragged out of the villa. This is the only place I am ever going to stay in Bali ever again! The most wonderful holiday I've ever had. :)

The scenery and location
The food - we ate at the restaurant the first evening we arrived and it was very average. Plus there was nobody else there so absolutely no atmostphere. The outdoor dining area had old fashioned furniture and at night time has no view so we sat at a table looking into blackness with no atmosphere surrounding us eating average food. The same went for breakfast. The first morning we woke, we ate breakfast at the breakfast and snack area by the pool. The only other people there were some management having a meeting. Although the menu offers lots of choices, the quality of the breakfast and dinner was not what you would expect with a 5 star hotel - we put this down to so few guests being there. The hotel needs to refurbish asap. The whole resort, the villas, the spa, the dining area - all were dated. The resort could offer so much more

Boutique hotel with very nice scenary and high privacy. The sursounding rice field, Ayung river and forest all are breathtaking. We never regret a single minute stayed in the hotel.
Shuttle offered is a little expensive (US$45 one way to airport, market price for a cab is less than US$25).

We loved the villa with private pool and amazing view. The villa is large and very well arranged. Very nice staff. Very good hotel for people who want to escape from the Ubud crowd and relax.
